Loan Watch - 23/01/21
This week has been good for the Aston Villa players at the club as they get back to winning ways, but how did the lads do out on loan this week?
Tyriek Wright - Wright made his professional debut today for Walsall who he joined last week, starting the game and being replaced in the 68th min as Walsall beat Port Vale away 3-1. Tyreik assisted the second goal putting in a delicious cross for Adebayo to get his second of the game.
Dominic Revan - Dominic Revan was solid today for Weymouth as they beat Hartlepool by a goal to nil. Revan was assured and played a big part as the Terras kept a clean sheet. Revan was nominated for the MOTM award and has been voted second. Keep it up Dom!
Viljami Sinisalo - Sinisalo played his part as Ayr United kept a clean sheet away from home against Dunfermiline in the Scottish Championship, he looked assured when needed, but didn't have that much to do as Dunfermiline failed to register a shot on target in 7 attempts.
Mbwana Samatta - Samatta played the 90 mins as Fenerbahce drew 1-1 away at Sivasspor with Enner Valencia getting the goal for the away side.
Lovre Kalinic - Lovre Kalinic kept a clean sheet as Hadjuk Split beat HNK Šibenik away from home 1-0. That moves Split up to 5th in the league.
Conor Hourihane - Conor made his Swansea debut in the FA Cup today, in a 5-1 thrashing of Notts Forest, surprisingly Conor did not have a hand in any of the goals, but the Swansea fans loved his performance on his debut with the Irishman looking classy and tidy.
Burton Albion did not play this weekend, so no game for Indiana Vassilev
Cameron Archer - Archer was not involved as Solihull Moors beat Dover Athletic away from home.
Callum Rowe has fallen victim to the National League fixture suspension which will last for 2 weeks as the next 4 Hereford games have been postponed.
Was a pretty good weekend for the lads that played! Keep it up lads. UTV
