The Villans Insight | Zat Knight
This is an interview that I did with Zat Knight a few years ago in our promotion season. It was a pleasure to talk to Zat.
Q: What was it like playing for Aston Villa?
A: I fulfilled a boyhood dream, being a Villa fan and growing up in Aston.

Q: What was your favourite moment as an Aston Villa player?
A: Definitely scoring on my debut against Chelsea, and beating them 2-1.

Q: Who was you most close with at Villa?
A: Nigel Reo-Coker, and I think that's maybe because I couldn't get rid of him because we lived next door to eachother lol, I couldn't get rid of him, SMH.

Q: Do you still follow Villa and our results?
A: Yeah, I do still follow them. i think the whole coaching staff is doing a great job. It took a bit of time to get going but now they are going in the right direction and hopefully they can finish it off.

Q: Who is the best player, you have played with, and against?
A: With it has to be Louis Saha, Against Thierry Henry. What a player!

Q: Favourite Second City Derby Moment?
A: LOL 5-1. Great day, Loved every moment.

Q: What are you doing at the moment?
A: Currently studying for my coaching badges.

Q: What was the best moment of your career?
A: Signing my Pro Contract and playing for England at full international level, and of course, putting on that beautiful claret and blue.

Q: Sum up your career in one word.
A: DREAM.
